Hi Peter, checking in again, some exceptional new posts of lovely watercolour use. Faces are particularly nice; enjoy seeing the blood in the flesh.
Clive, Always glad to hear fm you; Come and comment often. Any suggest'ns on the backgrounds to my figures?
Hmmm. Backgrounds. I like them the way they are. If I were painting figures I'd try and do something similar. Less is more, and the simple shapes and designs you're doing really work well establishing an interesting composition. No suggestions from me are my suggestion! They're great.
Thanks for the suggest'n; Usually I like to include the props backdrop or printed fabrics for the colour and contrast against the skin. My backgrounds are treated more arbitrarily simple when they are too busy in the studio.
David McEown is quite a CSPWC promoter. Now, why aren't you painting more?
